Dear all,

I am new to the forum and am hoping for your help....

I drive a 1.9hlx jtd mk2 punto......I need to look at my off side front suspension bushes......doesn anyone have a clue how to locate them....get to them...inspect them and either replace or lubricate them

Thank you

Which bushes do you mean? If it's one in the lower arm then you are best off getting a new arm. However, I suspect that you mean the top-mount bushes, which are available from shop4parts.co.uk for about £20.

This still depends which bush you are on about. If it is one on the arm, replacement of the arm is pretty easy with a good socket set, jack and axle stands. A top-mount bushing requires spring coil compressors to remove the bushing from the suspension strut, and is a more involved job, particularly getting the ******* top nut off. I rarely swear in forums, so you can gauge my opinion of that top nut from my use of language.
