After starting, the glow plug light flashes for around 15 seconds.
It`s been doing this for the last 3 years actually - but there`s been no effect on starting at all. It still fires up cleanly on all four cylinders.
With it being indirect injection, I thought it would not fire on one of the cylinders - at least for a second or two - if a plug was down, but no.
I know I could test the glowplugs without removing them - but with no signs of trouble other than the flashing I have left it alone.
Three years and counting! (lazy or what
Does anyone know what it is?
Possibly out of `academic` interest only, you understand......
That said, I`ve been working through it, getting rid of minor irritating faults the 1.9D`s had for some time.
