hi FF.

basically, i have a dented passenger side, and was going to get that repaired and the whole side resprayed. but asking the man who was doing it, how much it would cost for a full respray i have decided on that - a full respray.

i dont know what colour i want though, i'm going euro-ish, slightly deep dish, lowered about 70 on the rear and maybe 50-60 on front. smoothed all round, but i do have tinted rear lights and im thinking about window tints.

i have a teseo blue 5 door atm, and this is a common colour, very common infact - especially around my area, so i kind of want something unique :D.

anyways, what colour should i have it?

inputs please. thanks, Carl.

you just gotta remember whenever your wanting to replace a part that it will be impossible to find it colour matched, will have to get that respayed in same colour.
idk, I personally would just do it in the same colour, i wouldn't say it's worth the colour change, spending all that money to have the inside sills and the engine bay, under bonnet and under boot.
When you could just smooth it all out then have your sprayer go over in the same colour

you have brought up a good point there, and i completely forgot about the inside of the engine bay, door sills and boot... i'm not sure they'll be done, probably will :S

the full repsray will cost 700, not much imo, thats with all dents removed aswell..

i was originally thinking about white, i know its horrible to keep clean, but i havn't actually seen an mk2 around here in white.

I would give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say. If it's much more I wouldn't do it to be fair.
but that's me and I don't have cash to burn :p

£700 for a respray is very cheap. Have you ever seen any of the places work?

yes i have mate, one of my mates flipped his car about 2 months after passing, was in a very pretty state...

he bought a new door and this man doing my spray job beated out/ or filled (whatever they do) the dents and resprayed about 60% of the car for 500 quid ish. quality job done aswell.

Personally for 700 for a respray i would walk away as he will be cutting corners somewhere to get it that cheap. Good resprays cost 1200 upwards. But thinking about it for £700 he will of most likely meant only in the current colour. Choosing a different one will be alot more work for him so it will be more expensive.

hmmm, i think its any colour... some1 i know has a honda civic, in black... and he's currently getting work done by this man... full respray in white, same shade of white as an integra type r and thats costing him 800.. :S
