Hello,

I am currently on the normal steelies 165 13", and was going to upgrade for 14" alloy wheels 195. Will this affect my acceleration a lot? Because I really don't want to lose all acceleration cause by mckritch (sorry for spelling Micheal) chip. Will I need a turbo to turn them? :p

And what about steering?

Cheers

I wouldn't say that alloys with wider tyres = worse acceleration.

It depends how light the wheels are vs. standard.

Didn't say that - tyres have different % height profiles

70 down downwards ie 195 70 14 195 70 13 if you raise
the wheel size you need to drop the profile down from 70
to retain the same circumference of the wheel which effects
speed and acceleration.
