I am doing some research for my sisters boyfriend, he came to me for help, but i cannot seem to find what the problem is!

Symptoms are as follows:-

Steering wheel seems to move from side to side ever so slightly in each direction, with or without accelerating.

Car seems to feel like it is doing something similar, moving from side to side... more of a shaking than 'moving'.

Thank you for your time

Check wheel bolts are tight (pretty obvious!), then get the wheel balanced as stated above. Wheel weights may have fallen off.

yeah i was doing 80mph the other day overtaking this guy in a white van who was taking the p*** and my steering wheel was all over the place , got wheels balanced and its fine now ....

Wicked..! Cheers guys, i'll save this page, and tell you what happeneds...!

Hey guys...! Thank you for your wise words previous!

It ended up being two things, one was a tire had been changed on a MOT about a month ago, and Danny (sisters bf) was clueless about it... the rear right it was.

Another one was the brake discs were horribly warn down, i'm suprised it passed the MOT to be fair... Anyway, as promised, there is the result.

Thank you again,

Steve
