just had another look at my faulty dials that work when they want.
They work as soon as you get into it but if i switch ignition off and back on they stop working and re-work when they feel like it !!! cant find anything wrong with the connections and when i take the negative cable off the battery and re fit they work has anyone got any ideas to help me please ??

Sounds like an earth fault.
Intermittant electrical faults are notoriously difficult to trace.
Double check all earth bonds with a meter if poss.

would it still be a earth if it works every time i take battery cable of as that must be reseting somethink
