That reminds me, I have these bullet casing gold ones that my Brother in law gave me and I felt harsh not putting them on. I tihnk he must have forgotten about them so going to change them. lol

Aye I got stubby ones on my OZ's thanks to you richie . Made sure the tyre place used stubby ones when i got two new tyres on.

Those 9mm gold bullets came with max or fast car, I have some lying around somewhere too.

Yeh, thats it. Think it's redline, by Brother in law got bored on the trip to the Isle of wight and that was the only thing looked good in the newsagent

There is no valve sticking out...that's the difference, they're flush with the wheel.

They can't be nicked, unlike the cheap looking chrome/metal ones people buy.

Valves are valves, I'm not the one bothered about them in this thread but other people seem to be.

I'd be more concerned with other 'proper' issues than what colour my dust caps are lol

Mine came with the wheels... not my fault i had metal ones.... lol not like i asked borbet to put their silver valve caps on their own wheels lol.

Anyway getting a bit heated now in this thread!

stubby ones do sound appealing if my new valve caps get nicked again...

I'll bare them in mind next time... =)

What if youi know how to maintain a car and it has no 'PROPER' issues? Money is better spent on subtle car mods than mcdonalds or beer?

They also mean when your in the pub your so called mate's can't loose your tyres down and make you have to change a space-saver at 12:30am in the rain.....

Besides, what happened too personal preference?

compressor/pump in the back

i have a 3 in 1 compressor, torch and jump starter in the boot

its been a great buy!!

At half twelve in the morning in the rain your not gonna pump up your tire from flat with a compressor when your not even sure it will hold. For all I knew it was flat because of a puncture, until I pumped it when I got home and it never went down again........

best bet would be to get them valves witch sit snug in the alloy so the cap is flat with the rim.hey wont get hold of them.
