Hello pround owner of a punto HGT, had a rattling noise under the car and so looked under it and turns out the heat shield above the cat converter came off and so was rattleing. I just removed it and problem solved.

But was wondering if you really need it? i have been told you don't.

Any suggestions would be gratefully recived!!!

maybe u should have just replaced the bolts and put a big washer on so it would connect ,

my manifold / backbox heat shield were loose aswell but i replaced the bolts with new ones and everything was fine ..

Have another problem the airbag light kepps coming on and a airbag failure message. i had this problem before and it was the sensor under the driver's seat. All i had to do was push the sensors clips together, but thats not working now. I need to undo it and clip it together again but cant undo the plugs. Does anyone have any ideas?????
