General broken seat

just wondered jas anyone had a seat repaired or know if they can be repaired??? not the actuall fabric but teh innards of it.

ima rather large bloke

and other day was inside car cleaning front window leaning over while sitting in passenger seat. there was a crack noise and now the side support on back of the seat moves slightly when you push on it. think a weld has broken inside or sumthing.

is there anyway to get inside the seat to reapir it or is it a new seat job if it bothered me me??

its on passenger side and it still looks exactly same so it only aminor thing but i know its there now.

One idea might be a replacement from a scrappers?

Depends. Is it 3 or 5 door. Generally speaking not much goes on inside the seat, most of the metal will be under it, you may be able to get at the welds, best bet is to take it out, and have a look, not a difficult job. If it looks too broken you can always get another from the scrap yard.

its a 3 door its notthe base of the seat. its the lil side bits that hold you inplace on corners that are down side of yoru body. thin kthere is like ametal hoop or sumthing in there feels like teh weld has broke that holds it soo now it moves slightly instead of staying in place. dam cheap ass fiat metal build lol i can live iwth it if it will cost to much as its passenger side so i never use and i dont often have passengers ever and you cant actually tell seat looks no different
