Boot light
i have a '98 60s and it has no boot light (damn stingy italians) which makes finding stuff in there at this time of year a bit difficult, at first i just though bulb was blown but on my hunt for the light found there isn;t one!!

anyone know where and how i can source one and how difficult it would be to wire up??

I have the same problem with my '98 60S. The boot light is there in mine (on the left just below the left-speaker) and is wired up. I traced the wires (with a multimeter) back to the boot connector, but found that the live wire had no metal lug. If you look at the connector, between two of the metal lugs, you will notice that there is a small slit. This is where the live 12V cable should be.

mine has no boot light atall and no wiring just a supicious hole and a bit of what looks like coat hanger in there

Deja vu here another boot light thread! You can find boot lamps from a breakers if you can find a higher-spec punto, I bought one and just plugged it in but the wires were already there, if you've got no wires you'll need the switch and wiring from the front.

Thats weird. I have a '99 60S and mine has no boot light or any connectors too. Just a gaping hole in the plastic.

Would love to see how one can fit in a boot light in a 60S without running wires right up to the battery.

right, if you have no light, its because all thenessacery wiring is missing.

seen as my car had nothing (basic S model) I pillaged the entire wiring loom (internal) from a '99 ELX (fully loaded 5dr).

and fitted it, meaning I got electric everything, but best of all, a boot light!
