Does anyone know whats going on here?. Some sort of grease has dripped down from somewhere and its managed to spin inside my wheel and wheel arch :bang:

Maybe is that the bit where the drive shaft goes into the diff/gearbox?. If so there isn't much mess there.

yeah but what happens is you get a small split/gap and the grease spins out and doesnt really touch the gaiter much
have a good look over the gaitor.

edit: sorry not gearbox end,look at the rubber boot on the hub behind the brake disc

Boot may not be split, the clip may not be tight though. Had it on mine and just changed it for a jubilee.

Its a shame the last picture is blured, I vote check CV boot, the rubber cover that goes onto the back of your hub. Maybe it has split should be full of thick grease.

Just checked and it isn't split. So just needs repacking and new clips I think.
