Hey. After times trying to sort out my passengers side electric window control from the Drivers side and not succesfully getting it to work. I was wondering if I could perhaps fill in the hole left by the window switch so all I have is my control at my side.
As everytime I press the passenger side (on my side) it blows the fuse
So if I totally remove the option of me pressing it by accident. Imagine if I was about to park and windows down and blows the fuse! Damn..
So overall I would just have 2 controls. One at either side
However my Dad seems to think that when it comes to M.O.T time it may fail, but I dont agree, I've seen many cars which just has one control at either side. I just want opinions before I prcoeed. Sure, call me silly but it's always best to ask :D Pic below of what I mean :)
Cheers. Dan

AFAIK As long as there are two side windows and they can both be opened then it will pass. So aslong as one of the switches for the passenger window works it will be fine.

I would save this MOT GUIDE

Its great.

As for the switch just get a blanking switch for it if you are going to fix it at a later date. Or just screw in a plastic plate over it if not.
