Hello

The drivers side headlight on my car has steamed up and it's not drying out.

What I want to do is to remove the headlight, remove front plastic cover, dry the condensation, and seal the plastic back on again.

1. I tried to remove headlight today, but couldn't because it is to tight. Do I need to remove a bumper in order to remove headlight or is there a hidden trick.

2. Is there a method to dry the steam from inside without removing the whole plastic cover, and then just sealing the hole?

upen the back cover take it off, turn your lights on, all of em,fogs if you have them, that should dry em out, put cover back on,and done,quite common(y)

Hey mate mine has done this in the past...all i done was wait for abit of sunshine and left my car sunbathing, later returned to my car and condensation gone :)

No fogs, but a long/full beam with indicators should give it some heat.

If I wanted to clean the headlights from inside, or even change them, how do I remove them?

From inside, or bumper down? :confused:
 
it will come back dont you worry, just wait till it rains or you was your car, i used some off those little gell bags you get with trainers ect to suck the moissture out, just left it in the headlightS
 
the later mk2's had a little rubber hose in the back, mine did, to stop it from doing it, didnt work mind,nothing main beam and fogs didnt sort:D
