Current lyin the process of dismantling the front of the car to get at the clutch, I can't get the two bolts circled in the attached image to come out, are they threaded all the way through the housing or does the thread end part way down the shaft? If it is part way down the shaft it's blowlamp time :devil: If not, I'm open to suggestions!

they always seize in, you don't need them out, remove rear wishbone bolts and swing out the whole leg

Ok I'l give that a go tomorrow, incidentally they aren't threaded in there (and no I haven't gotten them out yet)

having ripped an engine out the other day, undo the shaft nuts, undo the ball joint pinch bolt, pop out the bottom ball joint then use a hammer to pop the shaft out of the front hub

id do it as nikky says but you can stick a bottle jack under the shock and tease it up and then you'll slide them out.
