hi all.im new on here.ive joined as i may get some answers or help etc.anyway hi too all.was on way out for the day(today) and head gaskett has blown for the 2nd time in nearly 14 months.cant belive it. it just came out the blue.one minute it was fine next full of white smoke,as any one else had this happen.i mean problem with head gaskett?? i mean it aint gonna keep happening is it?? any help etc will be welcome.many thanks.

was the head skimmed the last time the gasket blew?

HGs usually go because of some underlying issue -- overheating, coolant loss, etc. -- and the head should always be skimmed.

If the issue wasn't addressed and the head not skimmed, I'm surprised it lasted that long.
