Just a quick question: I need to remove my airbag to fit some wiring behind it, is the safest way to disconnect the battery and leave for 30 minutes for any remaining charge to drain, then remove it?

Just don't want it to take off my face as i start to remove it

Yeh leave it 30 mins to an hour then all should be well. Doing it this way is the safest way todo it, but just try and keep out of the firing line should it go off acidentally.

Ok thanks, think i will leave it an hour. So much work involved just to fit some wiring for new tweeters

I was doing the passenger side air bag and it came off remarkable easily, was actually quite impressed - thought it was going to be a right pain in the arse
