I have a 98 60sx, which I bought in AUgust, and is due for MOT on 11/11/04 (this Thurs). I have the exemption certificate, but was wondering, is it possible to cancel my MOT for this week and ask for a new date, or would I loose my money, and have to pay again ?

Basically I forgot all about it and am unable to get the car booked in to get an MOT check at any local garage, and am just wonderng would it be more beneficial to cancel, or just put it through and pay for a re-test if it all goes pear shaped !!

Any advice appreciated .

usaly if you cancel am mot you just rebook for another day they dont charge you if you dont have it done.

if it does fail, the re-test is free, unless you leave it for ages
