Hello all I'm afraid I have a couple of simple questions :) My punto is juddering when idling and after reading some articles on here, I've decided to try cleaning the inlet control valve to see if that helps. However, I'm relatively new to this (though quite technically minded) so I just want to make sure I'm not going to do anything stupid:

1) Can I confirm that the throttle is circled in the pictures below:

2) Do you have any suggestions on how I might go about removing circlips like these:

Do I need a special tool? Will I need to cut it off and replace it with a jubilee clip?

Thanks in advance!

Steve

the clip fingy i used a flat head screwdriver under the groove and push....be carefull as i slipped a few times and cut maself:rolleyes:

As for the clips, as said just attatck them with a screwdriver or pliers to break them off. Then use normal jubilee clips to replace them.
