what is the minimum thickness for the front discs on mk2 1.9jtd?
i had it written down but lost it, mine are currantly 19.8mm/0.782"

I take it its not embossed on the disc itself ?

Try ringing Fiat themselves. It'll be a lot quicker.

If they are the Ø: 257 mm ones then they start at 20mm... so if they are I would suggest you are measuring the out lip and not the actual disc thinkness

there is a bit of a lip but i measured about 10-15mm in from the edge and the discs have been on the car for about 30k .
i'll go and recheck maybe i read the micrometer wrong

well i rechecked the discs and they are 19.8mm and the lip is 20.4mm, so thats 0.6mm wear in about 26k

Wow, thats good. The book says 20mm on new discs. I replaced a set after 82k that were averaging 17.5mm
