Can anyone help. My son has a 2001 8 valve with a bosch ABS unit. The ABS light is not on but when driven and you apply the brakes you can hear the ABS motor running and the brake pedal judders very slightly just like its trying to ABS but no where near as violently as it would if it did it for real. Im stuck,dont know what to do next,I have taken each wheel speed sensor off and the ABS light illuminates. I wondered if it was possible to take the ABS unit apart (if that is the problem),or are there common faults with the system.
