Well after my thread Hills I finally got the pump out swapped it out for my replacement and went for a test drive first hill....

Same problem :bang: -Stuttering (this does go away when you press the clutch and change gear), Juddering & lack of power no acceleration (n) Starts fine, tick over is great

This is now getting silly Im replacing so many parts the cars nearly gonna be brand new, even the wife is saying get rid of it. But I said youd have to fix it to sell it. So thats a No. Plus Ive spent to much on it now got to keep it for a while.

Im getting No lights on the dash when this occurs so have ruled ECU out. But then Im no mechanic.... ;) Just like to tinker (y)

So far changed Plugs, Plug leads, Air Filter, Fuel Pump, coil packs. Its recently had a new clutch.

Its no different on a cold morning when the airs thinner!

Read about Throttle Poition Sensers do you reckon it could be them?

Are they easy to change?

Also someone had this problem and it was MAFS dont think my little 1.2 8v has them?

Also read someone had the problem and changed ignition coil valve (ICV) would that solve it?

Whilst typing this I was on the phone to Fiat @ Costa Del Blackburn my nearest Dealer and the man in parts was quite helpful.

Not with the price for TPS which incidentaly is £120.65 + vat - Not a part you can replace and get it off Ebay (n)

NB : But one thing he did advise was dont replace with plug leads which arent Genuine Fiat as it can damage the ECU he also advises always replace your plugs with the same plugs you took out.. (y)

(The plugs I didnt as why but will ask when I get my PL which they didnt have in stock)

It's not the TPS.

You were told it's not the fuel pump so why bother changing it.

ICV is not ignition coil valve it's Idle Control Valve, and it only effects the car at idle so it's not that.

The guy is talking rubbish about the leads and plugs.

Timing maybe out? Have you checked?

I believe someone said it's uncommon for fuel pump to go.

As I've said on here many times I no mechanic so researching on the forum and Reading other threads the symtoms sounded like another thread I'd read.

After getting it off put the other on.....

Glad you don't think it's the sensors at the price they are....

Will take it to the garage to get timing checked...
