Hi all,

My horn has stopped working i have changed the fuse but have had no joy with this, i have MOT next week and want to get it fixed before then if possible, do you think its worth buying a new horn or any other ideas?

Also - the roof of the car lately is oxidising quite badly in spots anyone know how to treat this or just make it look better??

My wifes car failed its MOT on the horn not working when we had it done at KwikFit. They got a new horn for it and tried to fit it but couldn't get it working. They told us it was a major electrical fault with the car and had to the a specialist job at fiat or an auto electrcian!

Due to us flying to Thailand the next day we had to leave it with no MOT outside our house. We got back from holiday stressed with the car so took it to Nationwide... they fitted a new horn charged us £50ish and we picked it up and hour later.

Job done!

most likely the switch, the horn its self or the fuse (but as you have replaced this the chances are its ok)

my sister had a problem with the horn, some corrosion problem, had to replace it
