Because the instructions are absolutely useless, and I'm not an electrician, I can't get my halo rings to light up. We've tried linking the two black wires that protude from the bottom of the light to the black sidelight wire, and thus the two red wires to the white wire. We've also tried a mixed red and black wire linked to each.

Again, as I'm not an electrician, I have no idea which needs to be linked with which. Can anyone shed some light on it, and do it in layman terms?

In other news, that bloody bumper was a bitch to get off :p

Assuming your sidelights work.

You may have the same problem i had at first. I hadnt pushed the metal center down far enough to actually penetrate the wire. By hand is not enough, use a pair of pliers and crimp down hard!

Red wires go to the white leab, black to any black.

Yeah the sidelights working fine. And we crimped it down fairly hard, but will try again tomorrow and see if that makes a difference.

And it would be two reds onto the white cable, and then the two blacks onto the black?

Those blue wiring blocks are crap. Personally I never use them, if Im doing any wiring on the car.

Get the solder iron out & heat shrink tubing;)

By the way, can I just wire two reds and the white into the block together, or do I have to wire them one at a time?So there'd be four blocks rather than two?

Yes its two reds to the white and two blacks to the back.

I used the same kind of crimp and wired them in pairs so you should be fine with just two connectors a side.

If you have a multimeter use it to check all the cables are connected together. Eashies way i found is check for continuity with all three wires to the metal connector in the middle of the connection block (you will need to use a pin or something small and sharp to pierce the outers to do this).

Have to agree with jimboy though solering iron and shrink wrap is the best thing to do, mine are temporary until i get my HIDs, then i am re doing the whole lot properly!

I thought these lights were plug and play. Have them up and running in Minutes?? Obviously this is a load of bull!!!

Do you have to cut into the original light wiring loom to get these to work?

I have a Punto 1.2 ELX just upgraded centre console and fuse box to get power to fog lights.

Are these punto Mk II angel eye?? thanks

areet pal sounds like you had the same problem as me what i ended up doing was wiring both up to the passenger side :S sounds wierd but give it a shot mine work perfect :slayer:
