hi im new to this but can any one help me. when i change from first to second gear i get a noise this has only just happened. 1 garage said its the cluch thrust bearings and to other said its the gear box my car has only done 23k 54 plate. but the one that said its the bearings said that i would need to get 2 off it plus possible a new clutch. fiat punto active

Like a cruncinh noise when you try and put the gear stick into second?

or a crunching/rumble/whine when you dip clutch?

If its the first one its the syncroniser in your gearbox.

The later will be release bearing in the clutch.
