Does anybody out there know how to remove the gear selector from a Mk2 Punto gearbox (from the top of the box)? I have removed the selector rods and taken the 2 bolts out but I cant get the selector away from the box. The reason is, I tried to remove it once without success and when I put it back the gears seem to be jammed!
I'd be very grateful for any help. Thanks
