hello there where would you say would be to take the ignition live of a mk1 sporting for my dvd player and head unit? and where is it located?

Does the cigerette lighter work constantly or with ignition only? If constantly, then from there, if not, tap it from the constant live to the hazzard lights switch

I ran a wire with an inline fuse direct to the battery through the bulk head. It passes through a big rubber bung up behind the fan (under the glove box). I thought it was going to be really difficult, but once you find the rubber thing, its incredibly simple. Hope that is of some use

OP is after an ignition live not a constant one
the cig lighter is most probably switched, it is on the mk2
