i had a similar problem the other day when 1 of my wipers stopped working, i just flipped up the bonnet looked where the arm conected it too and it had cum off like a ball hinge and it just popped back on with sum pliars

I will have a look at that but the only thing that worries me was that before i had to stop driving my window wipers were kinda on the way out anyway making a really loud squeeling noise they actually sounded like they were in pain and the back wiper has never worked since i got the car :(

I was told once they've came off the ball joint, the connection is then quite slack, so I had mine together with tie raps lol. The motor is below scuttle, which you'll see once you lift the bonnet. The ball joint might be off and able to be popped back on again to let you be able to use the car again in the rain.

I had to have the motor replaced in my mk2 punto this time last year and the motors from Fiat were pretty expensive - I only needed the linkage so I ordered a bit off ebay.

Cause it's making a fair bit of noise, it sounds like you'll maybe need the full motor, so it might be worth getting a reliable local garage to check exactly what part would be needed and you could get prices of genuine Fiat parts (y)

Was looking at this today, and well I think i am just going to have to leave this for the professionals lol i mean i don't even know wot a skuttle is:eek:

thanks for all the advice guys xx
