i am just about toput an order in for some paint, btu i am unsure on what my paint code is. I have a mk2 elx jtd, and its in a metallic silver colour, can any body help me out witht he code

Open your bonnet and you will see it

on a silver label...most likely on the left hand side

I also need to know the codes, ive had a look, can see the silver tag but there are many codes so which 1 will it be? How many letters/numbers etc?

will be the silver sticker it will say paint code on the left and for example mine is Paint Colour Name: Tinziano Red Below that Paint Code: 199/A

Ninja My paint code is the exact same as yours! Funny you should say that in your post. I cannot find it anywhere. Where did you get yours from mate? please reply. cheers

erm long forgotten lol...i got mine yonks ago...almost as soon as i got my car im more into detailing then anything so kinda my first fuss really

edit: just checked stoneacre (i hate them though i only use them when really pushed they rip you off otherwise), bout the only thing i have actually bought from there as it was cheaper than everywhere else at the time

If you're painting something you should match it, not go off the colourcode.

There is no sticker just a silver plate with like the weights of the car on it!!

no its on the actual underside of the bonnet...next to the metal latch of the bonnet look above your head when its open shud be there or look at the weight plate again and look up...

Mine was on the boot underside lid but mines an oldy. Check there anyway if your finding it hard to find it on the bonnet
