My 2003 8v punto has taken to occasionaly stalling or slowly dying when idling or driving slowly when cold (first few minutes of running) - it will sometimes go back to normal if revved a bit but othertimes does not respond to throttle at all. Any ideas where to look first?
Believe it or not this is my first experience of fuel injected car so advice appreciated!

hi there sounds like a head gasket problem if you live any where near stoke on trent give me a call 07920555297

Why head gasket? I don't think it is that. Car runs fine otherwise, no oi/water mixing, not loosing coolant etc. Just think it runs too rich perhaps - occasional whiff of petrol at these times. As I said am new to fuel injection but not to cars - what controls mixture or which sensors inform ecu that engine is cold?
