Help please

Just got my car back after a month and a new reconditioned engine fitted so its all good

but the battery has been disconected obviusly and this now has created a problem the Radio thing is saying CODE and i cant find it

Anyone know the code for a 1.2 Fiat Punto 2001 reg - reg starts with Y706 if that helps

it's because the ecu has been reset and this also resets the standard radio.. there are a few people on here that can help with this problem...

You will need to remove the stereo, should be on the underside on most cars. Do you have a stereo removal tool?

u need a set of radio keys and they go in either side of the radio usually u find little gaps and then u can just pull it forward and out and then find the serial number or u can try using some coat hangers like some members of the forum sometimes have used

You need a tool that looks like this. It inserts into the four holes on the front of the stereo. Push them right in, pull outwards and then pull towards you and the stereo should come out.
