Hi. I've got a 54 Fiat Punto 1.2. Great little car no problems so far until today when the heater fan switch stuck on mid-position. Any idea if this would be a pain to fix? I've a limited supply of tools and know-how.

Otherwise, how much should this cost to replace?

cheers for your time.
Steve

cheers for the reply. If you've got a moment could you tell me where to start to take of the central cover to get at the switch? I can see two allen keys just below and either side of the ashtray but no screws.

Thanks very much.

Thanks very much esp. for the link. This really doesn't look too tough to attempt. Last question and probably predictable but any recommendations for buying the part? (I'm south east london based or otherwise buy over the web I guess).

Had same problem with mine, when u remove the 2 screws to release switch all u need to do is grease the end of shaft & were the bearing runs in corners, hopes this helps mate.
