Punto W Reg - 3 door. 1.2

Filled my coolant system up so it was on max.

Drove to newcastle and back (around 50mile) and now its below min

Surely this isnt right?? What could be causing this? Im guessing a leak but cant see any visable signs of a leak.

Your termostat may have rusted shut therefore not allowing water to circulate over the system. causing a build up of pressure forcing water out of the top of your radiator

You could have a leaky heater matrix.

Your headgasket might have blown. Check for mayo in around your oil cap.

Water pump could have developed a faut.

All of the above, are very true, did you use the bleed points and force as much air as you can out of the system (filling up with the nose up on a slight incline helps eliminate air locks)
