started engine made a phone call
then rev ed it and hearded a noise

the radiator has enough in it


and im out of ideas

mine does the same mate 02 1.2 think its just water pump pumping the water around the system have bled and re bled think it must be normal.. but check your water level. good luck.

air in system, bleed it (takes few minutes)

daz its a air lock you need to bleed your coolant system to get all the air out. but i would do the lot and flush and re fill with anit freze as its gonna be cold here in west yorkshire

no no not pure 50/50 if its never been changed. most people top up with just water

im just gonna drain it
and put the above mix in

dont forget to open both the bleed nipples so all the air will be forced out so you wont get the running water sound again there is a guide on here some were for the mk1 its more or less the same
