mk2 or mk2 "facelift" or mk3? its september 2002 and 5 door, need to know to get new tail lights since chavs kicked them in on halloween

as these are advertised as mk3, but they dont look like mk3, they look like the ones on my eleganza:

Ur car is a mk2, mk2b's didnt come out til 2003. When u order ur lights make sure u get specifically 5door ones as theyre different to the 3door. Bad news to hear about them anyway.....fookin hate chavs. They should all be shot in the head

so basically all 5 door model rear lights are interchangeable?

ahh theres a good question. I know the 3door mk2's can be interchangable with the mk2b's but i dont know with the 5door. at a GUESS i would say they can as the back of the mk2b 5doors look exact to the mk2a. Hope this helps

They look identical to my mum's Mk2 facelift 54 plate. So would imagine they are interchangeable.

Not a problem mate, good luck. Wasn't that long ago I started tinkering with cars so still learning myself. Punto rear lights are very easy to change. Bottom bolt is behind the carpet inside the boot and the top bolt is behind a blanking plate in the C pillar. If you get in the back of the car you will see it.

Take both of them out, undo multi-plug and that's it, cluster removed.
