is there a way to read the fault codes on a 1996 punto without using a reader?.
I was able to do it on a peugeot 306, by putting a small wire into the connector then reading the flashs on the dash.

i'm hoping to do the same on the punto!.

What model have you got?
I've been told this works on Mk1 GT1's but i don't think it works on other Punto's.

Do you know what EMS you have? It should be on the label on the case....
