my theory on that the mk2b and mk2 rear quarters are diffrent.these skirts fit perfectly flush on a mk2 active.not mine. the skirts are a tad longer, the rear part does not sit flush, if i force it down it just pushes the middle part of the skirts out.

nope. seems that the mk2s rear quarter flares out more. the 2b is flatter.

these are genuine skirts off a x reg mk2 sporting.

so i advise people that if they have a mk2 and want sporting side skirts....they must look for a mk2 only sporting of the same year. if they have a 2b do not go for mk2 skirts.make sure they are off a 2b.

i saw it with my own eyes..they are not damaged or bent.my cars rear quarters are not damaged or been replaced (if any one thinks that) ...when i put them against the mk2 at my local garage they fitted absolutly perfect.

They are the same, or at least they should be. I've sold and bought more pairs of skirts than I've had hot dinners for Mk2's and Mk2b's and never had any problems - standard fit factory ones and abarths.

Some factory skirts are a poor fit, most of them are on one side (passenger) from my experience.

how can my car be in a dodgey repair?.i bought the car off somebody i know and i know for a fact is hast not and never been damaged or repaired.it is not accident reported either.

the skirts are a tad longer at the front and back wheel arches. and both sides sit exactly the same. same gap etc.
