X-reg Punto playing up again. Have searched the forum a few times and am getting different answers everywhere i look! Basically my fans were fine on the way to work the other day, nice and toasty after 5-10 mins, then on the way home, just not heating up. A bit worrying as the mornings and evenings are getting colder!

I can't see that this would be my head-gasket as i've had this done within the 2+ years that i've owned it (should still be under warranty if it is). My engine doesn't appear to be overheating (though it's hard to tell as you only know once the red light has come on, rather than there being a gauge). Although, there does seem to be a tiny amount of leakage towards the front of the bonnet on the ground, though all levels appear fine. What course of action would you take? Could bleeding the radiator sort this out?

You're more likely to need to bleed the heater matrix, that is the other bleed point on your pipes, somewhere towards the rear of the engine bay near the fire wall (not sure exactly though not owning a mk2)
