I started on changing the sump on the wife's car this weekend. According to the Hayne's manual I need to remove the transmission bellhousing but it doesn't give anymore information. Having started the job without reading the manual I managed to get all but two of the bolts out and am now at the point where I guess the housing needs to come off (based on the location of the remaining bolts).

It is easy to remove the housing? Can anyone provide pictures of the process? Is there anything I have to look out for when removing and/or refitting the housing?

you should get away with just moving the transmission bottom cover

Is that easy? Will it be obvious what I need to do when I get back under the car?
