I have a recently purchased MK2 Punto active 8v 1.2. Ive never had a fiat before and when I turned my headlights on the glare from them seemed dim. I have looked at the headlight from the front and it appears that in normal operation their is only one spotlight on either side beaming . IS this correct as i have another spotlight in each headlight unit but no matter which opeartion i put the lights in they dont beam any light?? sorry to sound so thick but know very little about cars. Also after a closer inspection it appears radiator housing is broken(plastic), is the radiator easy to replace and how much are they?? I can only see possibly three bolts to hold in place (one at top and two at bottom) a couple of hoses and one electrical clip??

Any help would be much appreciated as me mum has scrapped to buy us a car and the least has to spend the better. Cheers:)

not sure if this will help you, depending on which model you have, the head lights should be (closest to the fiat badge) full beam, then indicator, then your normal beam (headlight) then you fog lights right on the outer edge, you shouldnt be using your fog lights unless you have to...

i would either buy new healight bulbs, or upgrade to HID kit... (i would recommend this but it can be expensive and tricky to fit)

if you get the chance, then take a photo and upload it...

Hi mate,

Ifd you are talking about the lights on the outside edge of each headlight, ie furthest away from the centr of the car, then they are your fog lights. Not all Mk'2 are fitted with foglights, but they have the space for them.

Radiator is easy to fit/replace and will cost around £40. to do yourself

1. FOG LIGHT
2. MAIN BEAM
3. INDICATOR
4. SIDE LIGHT
5. FULL BEAM

Hope that helps,
Alan
