Sorry if the question has been asked many times before, but my question is, can the service indicator on a 54 plate Punto 1.9 diesel be reset diy, or is it a dealer only item?

I've got the same problem. The handbook says it's a dealer only fix but I'm sure someone out there knows a way round this.

I'm pretty sure you have to get it done at the dealers or a garage with a problem reader machine. Just had my MOT and asked the guy if he could do anything to get rid of it, would cost me £20 for him to remove it with his machine
