Hi
We have changed the fuse in our punto mk2 (51 plate ) which had blown
(not sure when it had blown as we don't use it often but went to plug in our sat nav yesterday and it wouldn't power up. But it still isn't working with a new fuse?
any ideas on what to check? the manual is as much use as a choccy teapot.
Any help much appreciated
Don't want to pay out money for something simple we can do ourselves.
Thanks  Karen

Hi, and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!

If the fuse is ok, then check the connections at the rear of the socket. You will need to remove the centre console to get at them. If you look in the punto guides section, there is a guide there on how to do this if you are unsure. If you have a multimeter, check you are getting 12v to the connections at the rear of the socket. If you are then you may need a new socket. They are only £5 or so.

Hope that helps,
Alan
