the warning light came on and stayed on last night. This morning it had difficulty getting up a hill. The service handbook says take it to the garage. Thought I would see what others new about this. Is there a filter that needs changing for example?

Thanks

you sure its the injection waring light and not the EML (engine management light) sounds like its only running on 3 with the loss of power.

but still take it to a garage noting can really be done untill you diagnose the problem

Nationwide autocentre diagnostics identify an ignition coil failure. This car has two coils - anyone know a good place to buy these?

Thanks

If its an 8V then I'm not convinced it is coil pack.

I can do coils for £30+vat but I would recomend a few more diagnostics first.

I assume the car is running on 2 or 3 cylinders? Identify which cylinders have the misfire and then swap the 2 coils over, if the fault moves cylinders then yes coil pack is buggered if not then I'd say its an ECU fault
