Any Ideas

Radiator fan is not coming on when it should.

I have narrowed it down a bit. The fan is working ok. tested off car.

However there seems to be no electric coming into that three way loom from fan/switch/loom. Fuse is OK and the main fuses to the right of the battery are all OK too. :bang:

any ideas before I set light to the whole thing. :worship:

Hi mate,

Sounds like the fan switch/temp sensor to me. Dead cheap to replace. You can test it with a multi-meter if you have one?

Also, we talking about mk1/2/2b etc and what engine?

I had same problem not long ago, we tested fan and wiring and all was fine - turned out to be an airlock hence the temp sensor wasent heating up - could be that maybe - hope this helps
