Hi Guys :D

At my MOT back in March, the garage done a temporary welding repair on my exhaust - and said it could last 3 weeks or 3 months... So, now it's October and it's not came off the car yet!

My Punto is an 04 plate Active, 1.2. I'm starting to do a lot more mileage on the city bypass to go back and forth to uni, and it's one hell of a road and I don't fancy getting stuck on it. I was thinking of replacing my exhaust now just incase or do you's reckon I should leave it til it's blowing like a tractor?! :yuck: *uncool* lol.

And... how much you's reckon is reasonable? (I think it's the middle box bit of the exhaust). I've had a few quotes done but wondering if I'm getting ripped off cause im a woman :bang:

Thanks!! :)

I had the middle section done on a 1994 1.2 punto and the exhaust itself cost just £20 (I was shocked!!!) Then the labour on top cost me £30..maybe cos i knew the mechanic but he said that was a price for most people.
