What do I need to do to prepare my Fiat Punto 1.2 16v ELX 2000yr for the winter?

Re: Winter preparation of Punto

screen wash needs to be a different mixture.

check on the bottle.

depending on funds you might want some different tyres.

other than that watch out for ice and enjoy the cold weather as the car runs better

Re: Winter preparation of Punto

Make sure you have anti-freeze in the radiator
If ur running just plain water - it could cause lots of troubles....

Switch to your winter wheels if you have expensive alloys on

Re: Winter preparation of Punto

I know our cars are galvanised but...

Recently I posted on here about what I found under my car when I was looking at something completely unrelated. Basically around the edges of the floor where it meets the sills had started to rust on mine.
Took hours to do but in the end I used wire rotary wire brush in a drill+kurerust+ gallons of waxoyl.
Check yours out mate, hopefully you'll be fine.
