with the k&n 57i induction kit, does it increase fuel consumption? on my old 1.1 fiesta i had a k&n kit and it nearly doubled the amount of fuel i was using?

when you hear that f**k off massive roar when you put your foot down past a certain point thats when its guzzleing twice as much fuel. Just get into the habbit of having your foot just before that point and your fine .

Definately agree with this. Trouble is you like the noise so much you end up putting your foot down all the time.

My cinqi defo guzzles fuel with the K&N which isn't good when uv spent £20 on Optimax at 88.9p a litre! lol! but thats my own stupid fault!.............crap i don't have a punto! why am i here? lol
but is that the k&n or the way you drive the car?
