Hi FF people, once again I am back with a few questions and I really hope someone can help me so I can sort the car to sell next year but today it has really pissed me off! :bang: Its a 98' Punto Mk1 1.2 16v Sporting

Problems:
a) Its been cutting out everytime I come to a halt or put the clutch in and the revs just drop and it dies while cold and up to temp.

Could it be Throttle position sensor/ Idle speed control valve/ Injectors/ECU? :(

b) Does this from cold but it could be just the way it is but even when warm if i take my foot off the accelerator slowly and press again slowly it jolts harshly

Stopped for a good bit when I tried disconnecting the ISCV, running the car for a short period, bit of WD40 and reconnecting, ran quite well for around a month, then started again recently.

c) Sometimes it decides to idle properly, other times it doesn't, but say if i take the engine upto 4,000 rpm then let go of the accelerator, the revs drop and drop and then it dies

I hope to buy Fiat again by upgrading to the GT :slayer:but I will be put off if this is likely to happen with it and I really hope some of you guys can help me out with this and give me a few ideas of what is causing the problems.

Make me love my Fiat again :) lol

Cheers, Ste
