Hi there im new here and have a problem. I have a 1998 punto elx and the speedo doesnt work, Unfortunatly its the electronic one and fiat want £45 for one. Is there anything i can do to make it work like cleaning it or does it have to be replaced. If i can clean it what can i use and how do i get to it. Many thanks for any help on this.

I've done many of these in the past and found the main problem to be water ingress. I used to open them up to dry them out then seal them back together with adhesive lined heat-shrink tube. You may be able to dry it with a hair drier.
