Hi guys,

Bought a 1.2 Fiat Punto Active a while back and i seem to be hearing an internal rattle, on the drivers side, which appears to be coming from the boot area. Car has only done 7,000 miles.

It seems to rattle when going over bumps etc, so i'm thinking something must be loose?

Any ideas what it could be?

If you think its inside, have you checked the spare wheel area. Make sure its screwed in properly & everything is fixed in place?

And that the rear seat backs are properly in their locked in position?

Check the parcel shelf too!!

And inside the tailgate for broken trim clips lol... jeez this could be along Thread!

Make sure your boot is actually closed. That might make a loud bang when going over bumps

This is getting out of hand now !!

i know you say internal but my exhaust rattles against the bumper when im reversing and over bumps and it sounds like its in the boot, worth a try maybe ?

hi i have an active sport and had the same problem.it turned out to be the bolts holding the boot lock in place had loosened and were rattling about.tightened them up and been fine ever since.
