TJet/Starjet engine into mk2 punto

Right, just a few quick questions about doing an engine transplant into my mk2 punto.
I have seen a starjet engine for sale for a resonable price and was wondering if it would be a straight swap for the 1.2 16v engine I currently have? As I have heard the tjet doesnt fit without major work and I thought the starjet was pretty much the same lump.
Would the 1.2 16v ecu be able to manage the fueling (with remap) and would the mk2 sporting gearbox fit the starjet engine???

your ecu will work it but, there many more things to worry about, see my thread, you need your cam pulley and either change oil pump or work out a way to move alternator, you also have to chop a big lump of alloy out of the inlet ports

Even if its a complete engine I can get hold of minus the gearbox, ecu & exhaust?
Also will the supersprint mainfold from my current engine be compatible with the star jet?

yeah exhaust should be ok, or it better be or i buggered
you still need to do the head work, or swap the top end over off the 1.2

So what exactly would I need to swap over and what advantages would this give me over the standard 1.2 16v engine???
